Orezi talks music, dating married women, Flavour’s stand on marriage and more [Videos]
In a new interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Channels TV’s Rubbin’ Minds, Orezi opened up about things his fans do not yet know about him.
Speaking about how he joined the music industry, the singer said he studied Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Lagos, worked with the First City Monument Bank for only four months but quit the job because he never really liked the idea of a 9-5 job, plus the pay was poor compared to what musicians earn. And so, he chose a career in music in 2012.
When asked about scandals in the industry and if artistes consciously get embroiled in dramas just to stay on the headlines, Orezi denied this, citing his previous experience in Dubai when news made the rounds that he was arrested for drug possession.
And finally on the most recent drama involving him and an unknown man who accused him of having sexual relations with his wife, Orezi reiterated that he felt he was being pranked but that the man came on too strong before security intervened.
“I wouldn’t deliberately date a married woman,” Orezi said.
He also had something to say about Flavour’s latest interview, where the ‘Ada Ada’ singer said marriage is a distraction.
