Bodies of Boko Haram members killed as Military clears more camps
Boko Haram members have met their waterloo as more camps were cleared in Dagu, Isge, Lassa, Zangore, Muthavo, Kumabza, Unworo, Kilesaka and Pumpum, the military media co-ordinator, Col. Tukur Gusau, has disclosed.
The operation which took place between November 3rd and 5th involved 115 Task Force Battallion under 28 Task Force Brigade, invading more than nine terrorists’ strongholds around Lassa axis.
During the operation, four Boko Haram terrorists were killed by gallant soldiers while others fled their place and abandoned their weapons(seven den guns).
Also 15 Troops of 25 TF BDE conducted another offensive operations along Korede axis in Damboa LGA on November 5,2015.During the operation,3 motorcycles suspected to be used by the insurgents during the last Sunday attack on Azir village were recovered. Stolen food stuffs from the village were also recovered.At Korede,troops demolished terrorists observation posts.
Colonel Tukur said:
“Our Troops continue to dominate roads leading to Azir, Wajikoro, Damboa and Biu towns to deny Boko Haram Terrorists any possible freedom of activities in the area. The fighting spirit of the troops remain very high.”
